Downtown Riverside RV Park (Little Rock, Arkansas)

Dates of Stay: October 9 – 20, 2016

I really enjoyed staying at the downtown Riverside RV Park, which is run by the city of North Little Rock. You have a beautiful view of the Arkansas River from almost every spot,

and while I was there, they were laying concrete pads for the sites with the best views.

You also get views of three bridges – the Presidential Bridge, a former railroad bridge that is now pedestrian only and leads to the Clinton Library; the Interstate 35 Bridge; and the Junction Bridge, which leads directly to River Market. At night there is a light show on the pedestrian bridges.

You can access the Presidential Bridge via a security gate inside the park.

Here is an article I wrote about my time in Little Rock. You can walk from the RV Park to the Verizon Arena and the Argenta Arts District. I have read some reviews that people felt unsafe on the North Little Rock side of the river, but I did not. It’s just a little more industrial.

The park has a pavilion for large parties which can be rented.

A word of warning about Passport America: Be sure you mention it on arrival and pay cash, or you will not get the discount. Also, despite with the brochure says, they would not give me the 50 percent discount for weekends.
