Directly behind the Lynchburg town square is Wiseman Park. You can walk to the Jack Daniel’s distillery from the park very easily. Mrs. Mary Bobo’s Boarding House, serving Southern-style dinner on weekdays, is next door.

For $20 a day, mailed to the county, you get a water and power – no sewer hookups.

Wiseman Park is one of the best-kept secrets in Lynchburg. As long as they are not having a big event there, I will always stay there when I am in town.
