Diario Mexicano: Day Twenty-Eight: Valle Guadalupe – “A Flood, A School, And A Winery”

As if to say adios, Mexico rained on us on our last full day in the country. It was the only rain we had seen for the entire trip. By the time we reached Ensenada, the streets were flooded.

We winded our way into the Guadalupe Valley along the Ruta del Vino, the Wine Route:

to Rancho Sordo Mudo, a Christian school for deaf children. We are staying in the RV park across from the school.

We toured L. A. Cetto winery:

and returned to our rigs, exhausted. Tomorrow after a 40–mile drive, we cross the border back into the United States at Tecate.

Man, am I ready.
