I become feral while getting from Point A to Point B in the RV, when my only goal is the next destination. I travel alone, so there’s no one to offend, or impress. The blog’s internet address is emblazoned across the back of Nellie and Toad. Vehicle passengers punch in the website and peruse the home page photos, depicting me at my best, as they pass, only to be shocked 52 feet later by the imposter/chupacabra in the driver’s seat.
So, in the style of Cosmopolitan Magazine, here are my fashion tips and tricks when making miles in your RV. Get this look, at NO COST to you!
1.Trust Pillows For Care-Free Hairstyling
Every morning is a delight when you awaken to find the coiffure last night’s slumber has created!
2.Out Of Date Glasses Make A Great Fashion Accessory
Don’t burn a pair of spendy daily wear contacts when you can don 10-year-old prescription glasses that no longer suit your face and barely correct your vision! Is that Exit 11 ahead, or 71?
3.Be Environmentally Conscious
Why squander water on bathing, or brushing your teeth, for that matter? There’s always tomorrow.
4. Mattress-To-Cockpit Couture
Change clothes? No need! Loose fitting garments, worn continuously for days straight, easily transition from snooze to cruise. If you’re covered in pet hair and make a pit stop for groceries or fuel, throw on a “Pet Hair Don’t Care” baseball cap to complete your ensemble.
5. Forget Foundation Garments
A corollary to Number Four above, who needs a bra for sleeping? And when you think about it, who needs a bra, period? (Driving tip: Take speed bumps and railroad tracks slowly to avoid black eyes.)
6. The Natural Look
There’s no time to apply makeup when the Open Road beckons!
